Six Weeks to Go
I hope everyone had a great spring break and had lots of fun and got to relax. We're coming down to the final weeks and lots of great activities to still participate in. Some are PTA sponsored, some are school sponsored and some are related to Relay for Life events.
PTA- Every Tuesday is Student Banking Day at school.
School Store will be open in the morning on April 16th
Cougar Pride Day is April 17th- be sure to wear your school shirt
School Events-
Kincaid Fun Run takes place on Saturday, April 18th. The information went home before the break. Bring the whole family and cheer on your student as they run the course down Kincaid Road. (Parents can run too)
CRCT Testing- Testing will take place for grades 1-5 starting on April 21st and continuing through April 30. The younger grades will only test for 3 days. Please be sure your student has a good breakfast on those days and arrives at school on time. Students who arrive late will not be admitted once the tesing has begun.
Relay for Life-
Sticker sales for Relay for Life will begin on April 15th. More information will be sent home soon. The actual Relay for Life event is May 8-9th at Jim Miller Park. Please help support our team in raising money for this worthwhile cause.
I think everyone had fun at the Sock Hop during their enrichment time on April 2nd. Cultural Arts Day is also a good time with so much to see and do. Our Character Ed word for the month of April is Accomplishment- pride and appreciation for attaining one's goals. Every student has made progress in so many ways throughout the year and should be proud of all they have done. Lots more to do in May. Keep up the good work!
