For Your Information...

• Congratulations to Parker.  He is our character education winner for the word COMMITMENT.  We are very proud of him!

 

• Kindergarten registration is this Wednesday from 8:30-11:00.  If you have an upcoming Kindergartner or know someone who does, please encourage them to come and register their child at this time.
• We have had lots of little "boo-boos" this year and our band-aid supply is running low.  If you don't mind, please send in a box of band-aids with your child.  Thanks!
• This Friday is Celebration of the Arts Day.  We will be on a different schedule.  Our students will get to experience the work of many artists and learn about music, clay, painting, drama, etc.
• Next week, April 6-10 is spring break.  I hope everyone has a great week off!

• Theme:  eggs and baby animals
  
• Phonics:  digraphs th and wh; listing th and wh words, th word story/illustration, wh story/illustration, th/wh sentence writing activity, all digraphs sorting activity
• Literacy: guided reading, "Seven Eggs" make-and-take book about oviparous animals, "My Bunny Book" make-and-take book, egg picture sequencing and sentence match, "Mother, Mother, Can You Find Me?" make-and-take book
  
• Math: "The Great Egg Hunt" addition make-and-take book, jelly bean measuring activity, egg graphing, jelly bean addition, jelly bean sorting and graphing
